From the lineup of dynamite speakers sharing their authentic advice and wisdom, to each and every remarkable businesswoman who took the time out of their hectic schedule to connect and share with us. Your presence is felt and it matters! Thank you for making this another successful event, allowing us to empower one another and forge forward with intentional goals for the new year. Staff Writer: Megan Pavek We recently had ourselves a celebratory night filled with recognition and cheer for our lovely team at the annual CHWAG awards (pronounced sh-wag). This year we were grateful to gather the Sip and Ship crew for a night filled with good food and time spent reflecting on the year with the best company! Made even better with a delicious meal catered by K Catering, homemade cupcakes baked by our beloved teammate Emma Y, and handmade decorations crafted by our teammates with a special shoutout to our youngest helper, Poppy. She took the time to help color each of our teammates a paper heart that they got to take home with them, which was definitely a highlight of the night! CHWAG is an important acronym used to describe Sip and Ship’s core values: courage, hard work, authenticity, and gratitude. Peer nominated, each year we spotlight our teammates who go the extra mile to serve and connect with others daily. Sometimes it’s as simple as making a customer laugh over a cup of coffee, connecting over life milestones, or showing up for a struggling coworker to assist them during a hectic day.
