Getting your taxes filed can be such a drag, but not at Sip and Ship! Our lines are short, our team is friendly and helpful, and we offer plenty of mailing options. Sip and Ship recommends mailing your taxes via certified mail with a return receipt. This means you get a certified tracking number (which serves as a legal document) and a signed postcard delivered back to your address that confirms your mail has been received. Sip and Ship even has the ability to email these details directly to you, streamlining your record-keeping and making it easily accessible on your timeline. Sip and Ship is your go-to, to meet the tax mail-in deadline of April 18th (that's right, you have a few extra days this year), enjoy a Golden Chai latte, and a slice of lemon-lavender coffee cake while grabbing a cool gift for a friend.

Golden daffodils have pushed their way out from the dark, cold ground. Baseball season is back on track and, dare we say it? Making travel plans appear to be a reality.
The month of March is the perfect time to stop into Sip and Ship to take advantage of our secure package receiving service. Sure, that teenager who lives across the street could help you out, but why leave it to chance? Point your UPS, FedEx, and Amazon deliveries to Sip and Ship so we can keep them safe and secure while you are stretching those travel legs to destinations we’ve been dreaming about for two years! But first, it’s always a great idea to check your passport date and get any travel documents notarized so you can set sail or take flight without a worry. See you soon, and Bon Voyage! The concept of Sip and Ship was hatched in Diana Naramore’s kitchen over a cup of coffee with her husband Steve. Diana recalls the two tossing around ideas of how they could diversify and improve the concept of traditional mailing systems, and she decided to fold in the coffee shop and gift shop elements to enhance what is often thought of as a necessary but tedious errand. Before Sip and Ship, Diana had a career in the cruise industry and later put herself through night school earning a degree at the University of Phoenix in Business Administration and Management. In 2002, Diana and Steve opened Sip and Ship in Ballard and five years later opened another location in Greenwood. Diana says, “I may be the visionary, but it truly takes a team to make Sip and Ship work.” Both locations offer on-site and remote mailboxes, shipping, notary, and printing services along with great coffee and fun merchandise to peruse. Sip and Ship was able to remain open during the pandemic due to the mailing and shipping side of the business, but the business has experienced some challenges. Fortunately, Diana says, “COVID has had a positive effect on the entrepreneurial spirit! Millions of people are venturing out on their own to start their own business and Sip and Ship is the perfect place to sign up for a business address (your name and company name, our address, your suite number) with a traditional mailbox rental or with a remote/virtual mailbox rental (we scan your mail to you). Both are great for any online business or one that has you on the go! Sip and Ship serves as your business epicenter.” For more information on Sip and Ship, check out their website and follow them on Facebook and Instagram. |
