Sip and Ship brings you more of what you love!
A few weeks ago, as we began to prepare for covid-restrictions to lift and staffing to become more available, we asked you, our valued community, what you would like to see related to our operating hours. The overwhelming choice was to see us open at 8am! With your feedback and a heap of faith, we’re dipping our toes back into more business normalcy beginning this week! Starting off at Greenwood Sip and Ship. Her new operating hours are: MON - FRI 8am - 6pm SAT 10am - 5pm SUN closed We’re still working on adjusting the hours for the Ballard location. For now, they will remain the same (M-F 10-6, SAT 10-5). In other news: Please join us in welcoming Julienna back onto our team as our in-house baker! She's lighting up our cafe offerings by bringing back our homemade Trail Mix cookie and a slew of crowd favorites, including the likes of our date-bar, seasonal delights, and other “taste-tastic” treats! Side note: Whether you’re stopping in for a quick cup of coffee, an online return, or a last-minute dinner party perk, remember that every day is Earth Day at Sip and Ship. Be sure to bring us your clean packing peanuts and boxes to be repurposed and kept out of landfills. Thank you for your continued support!

We all have routines and tasks that may become mundane but are necessary to manage our daily lives; breakfast with coffee, walking the dog, getting kids off to school and ourselves to work, grocery shopping, laundry, homework, and dropping by Sip and Ship with a few online returns and to pick-up last-minute gifts.
A typical day at Sip and Ship has all of these components that shape our work with a few more to best support you, like handling hundreds of mail and packages, managing business mail through our virtual-mail platforms, and serving seasonal coffee drinks and yummy pastries. All while keeping our shops spruced up, with the hope that we can somehow make your life easier. The very best part of our days is when we get to touch someone’s day in a special or unexpected way. Which brings us to these sweet little faces. Meet Megan and Madison. Their father Brian, a frequent flyer to Sip and Ship, brings in his prepaid packages, keeping his family top of mind. The other day he stopped on his routine way out to share a story about his family. A while back, he and his wife Alyssa wanted to start a family that eventually included IVF (intravenous fertilization). During their silent but determined struggle to conceive a baby, they purchased a bunny from the Greenwood Sip and Ship, for luck. Hoping that someday, they’d be able to introduce the softest bunny on the planet to their new baby. What they didn’t know was that this plush bunny had magical powers, summoning the baby gods, splitting their fertilized egg, and gracing them with twin girls! As luck would have it, a second bunny was sourced for the girls, because, who doesn’t want their very own bunny to love?! This family’s story serves as a gentle reminder that we never know what anyone else is going through. The power of eye contact and a smile may seem simple, but it's the start of how genuine connections are made and bonds within our families and communities grow. |
