As many of you know, ordering important stuff online has become a regular daily occurrence. I mean, who could blame you for wanting that baby onesie with the face of your golden retriever embroidered on the chest? Diapers, shoes, feather boas and ukuleles - with this convenience right at our fingertips, it’s no wonder a figure within our industry recently reported that 50 million packages are delivered within the US every day. And, by the year 2023, this volume will double! That is a lot of packages! Which is one reason why Sip and Ship is expanding its Greenwood location and why you’ll want to sign up to have your online orders sent to one of our convenient package receiving/shipping centers. The good news is that if you are reading this email, then you are already signed up! We’re ready to receive your packages! And, for those of you we currently serve, thank you for giving us the opportunity to simplify your life!
Sip and Ship is open 7 days a week M-F 7am-7pm, SAT 8am-5pm SUN 10am-5pm. We look forward to being your package receiving hub.

"With Gold Dust At Your Feet..."

As Frank Sinatra sang in the 1940s, “direct your feet to the sunny side of the street... where you’ll find gold dust at your feet…”

The Seattle sunshine towards the end of the summer gives off this feeling to me. And as luck would have it (speaking of sidewalks), this just happens to be the week forBallard’s annual SIDEWALK SALE throughout the neighborhood! For four days from August 15-18 from 11am-6pm, Ballard small businesses feature significant discounts on their specialty merchandise! A great time to stock up on coveted items such as Corkcicle hydration bottles, Jellycat plushies, candles, and other sweet surprises!

While you peruse the Ballard Sip and Ship sidewalk sale, we’ll treat you to a sample of something delicious from our cafe and always have a cold press juice waiting for you too! Happy Hour runs from 2pm-4pm when all of our espresso drinks and homemade treats are $1 off - doubling your pleasure!

“So grab your coat and get your hat, leave your worry on the doorstep…” See you at the sidewalk sale this week. ;)

Best Case Scenario?

Picture this:
The day begins, it’s a cloudless sky, your dog has been walked and is happily lounging at your feet while you enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Your teenager has volunteered to mow the lawn, the nest of birds in your front yard begin chirping as they prepare to take flight. You can hear your neighbors laughing and enjoying their morning, and your to-do list has magically faded into you exploring a few more chapters of your new favorite book. Suddenly, the UPS driver greets you at your door with your recent online order “Didn’t I just order this yesterday?” Your day is looking incredibly bright.

Reality check:
It’s raining again, the dog has pooped on your favorite rug and is now barfing on your other favorite rug. There is no coffee in the house, it’s 2pm, and your teenager is still sleeping! The nest of birds are actually crows, that are dive-bombing your neighbors as they attempt to walk by; and that to-do list is now four days old, and where the (beep) is that UPS driver with your recent online order? Your day is looking rough.

Change of perspective:
You signed up for Sip and Ship’s online package receiving service. You received an email that your package was secured which is now waiting for you to pick up at your convenience allowing you to get there on your time with the added bonus of friendly service, delicious coffee and the perfect birthday card and gift for your neighbor. By the way, your teenager is probably still sleeping, but don’t worry, it’s just a phase. :)
