Moms are on all of our minds, particularly given the ongoing pandemic. We’ve seen moms sacrifice, putting in long hours as teachers, medical workers, remote workers, team leaders, household caretakers, crafters, dancers, space shifters, gardeners and crisis management confidants - just to name a few. While most of us would prefer to get together with our moms; for some, it may still be too soon. Counting down the days until our vaccinated selves can be reunited to share a safe hug and the intimacy of looking directly into her eyes and breathing in the curves of her smile. As challenging as last year was and as we begin to come out of our hiding, Sip and Ship is excited to honor all moms and mother figures (pet moms, too!). Our hand selected cards, local rose wines and clever gifts can enhance any celebration you might be planning. Great gift ideas can be found in our shops and online. We also wanted to share a few virtual experiences that she will undoubtedly enjoy. Consider setting up a Mother’s Day date to visit the Louvre in Paris, the Vatican in Rome or the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Take a virtual field trip at the Nature Conservatory in Oklahoma and famous Holland tulip farm in Keukenhof. Lest not forget taking in the tropical flowers of Hawaii and Monet’s Gardens in France. Honestly, moms are worth celebrating year-round. Especially, remembering those we may have lost recently. We hope you find just the right balance of love, laughter, hard work and happiness as we continue to journey-on together.

Homegrown is one of Seattle’s most beloved sandwich shops, and we couldn’t be hungrier...um...more excited! Start your day with a classic Sausage Omelet Breakfast sandwich, or the yummy Mama-Mozz Omelet melt. Lunchtime offereings include the Chicken Basil Pesto panini, the Mountain Goat Salad (no goats were harmed) the Fruit & Cheese plate and a Chic-Pea Vegetable Cup. So many choices!
