Congratulations are in order for students around the world as they celebrate academic achievements and memorable milestones! There’s no feeling like submitting that final assignment or walking out of the classroom for the last time. This time of the year is marked by excitement, pure joy, and the exhilaration of moving forward to new beginnings. The future is bright and so are you, Grad!
According to the National Retail Federation, consumer spending on graduates is still going strong with cash and cards remaining the most popular gifts. To avoid giving the same card as someone else, we recommend skipping big box stores and heading to Sip and Ship instead.
Not only does shopping small help set you apart, it also means supporting the local artists and makers that Sip and Ship proudly showcases on its shelves. Choose a unique card from our vibrant selection and then settle into our cafe with your favorite coffee, ready to write. These can be happy yet tumultuous times filled with lots of changes, and our grads need heartfelt advice along with the well wishes.
Or, set yourself apart by choosing a different gift than the classic cash and card; we’ve got many Ballard and Greenwood mementos that serve as sweet reminders of home. Sweatshirts and baseball caps are ideal options, along with tasty treats and relaxing candles. During these hectic times, we also encourage our grads to slow down and process their emotions. Journals are a fantastic way to document these big moments and show our future selves just how far we’ve come!
This graduation season, pay us a visit to make those tedious tasks easy! From start to finish, we want every step of our in-store experience to look good and feel good. Our shops were built to inspire, helping you capture meaningful sentiment for the special students in your life.
P.S. We’re so proud of you and all that you have accomplished! Come see us this week for an extra dose of sunshine from your friendly neighborhood shop. We’re excited to share our new summer cafe menu with you!
