We hope you were able to enjoy some merry-making and maybe even a long winter’s nap!? It felt good to close up shop and give our team a well-deserved break. They hustled hard through a heavy shipping season, and with perseverance pushed through an unrelenting pandemic.
As we bid 2021 farewell, we must share some bittersweet news with you. Kat, our GM and incredible teammate of nearly five years, is retiring from Sip and Ship on January 7th. She will be pursuing her own passion of baking artisan cakes. She will be joining WallFlour Cake Studio in partnership with Alexandra's Macarons, so be sure to connect with her there! As you can imagine, the Sip and Ship team couldn’t be more excited for Kat - sending her out into the universe with immense pride and gratitude for all the impact she's had on us as individuals, a team and small community business. Please join us in cheerig her on as she creates this next chapter in her life! Meanwhile, Sip and Ship is setting a course in 2022, open to all possibilities not yet discovered with loads of hope, optimism, and a pretty badass service team. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you, your business and family in the year ahead. Happy New Year friends!

There is plenty about this past year that most of us are ready to put in the rearview mirror. However, before we wave farewell, we’d like to raise a cup of cheer filled with immense gratitude for giving Sip and Ship the opportunity to serve you in 2021.
Don’t forget, Sip and Ship locations will be closing at 4pm on Dec 31st and reopening Jan 3rd from 10-6. Ready to handle all of those ugly sweater returns, passport renewals, and notary needs. Wishing you and yours a healthy and prosperous New Year from our team to yours. This is the week to find those last-minute gifts, and get them gift wrapped and tree-ready! Sip and Ship has a little something for every stocking hung with care. As well as magical customer service, an experience we hope can truly enable the comforts and joys of the season.
Christmas Eve? Sip and Ship locations will ring the last sleigh-bell at 4pm - giving Santa and his elves a little extra time to load his sleigh. We will also be closed on December 25-26th so that our hard-working team can relax and spend time with their families. We will all be back at it on December 27th to take care of your online returns and post-holiday mailing needs. From our family to yours, warmest holiday wishes with brighter things to come! We are in the most wonderful time of year! Snow is in the mountains, lights are on the trees, and you get to wear that favorite cozy sweater. Sip and Ship loves this time of year, too. Gift wrapping, packing, and shipping are what we do best. This holiday season is special with the addition of family, friends, and significant others, all pitching in at our stores. You might even see some familiar faces who are back from college, helping out their Sip and Ship family.
My aunt Kyttie joined us from Texas to lend us her mad-baking skills. Stocking up our Ballard cafe with yummy in your tummy family recipes that complement any holiday shopping and shipping experience. Carrie’s husband, Emilio is very sweet to offer to lend a hand at the Greenwood store, and we might never let him leave! Ethan was introduced to us by his good friend Gabby. Joined by Philip, Jane, and Dana they have wonderfully immersed themselves into Sip and Ship’s community service culture. Along with our newest team member Michael who came to us at the recommendation of Sip and Ship alumni, circa 2007, Sarah Parker who is now living her dream life in Brussels, Belgium. Along with our stellar everyday crew, be on the lookout for guest appearances with our dear friend Tamara and returning college students; Jack, Sophie, and Mira, Amanda, and Ophelia. We love that they are sharing some of their time off with us and all of you, too!
