Tasting wine is easy. Shipping that tasty wine to your BFF can be really hard. Most packing and shipping stores in Seattle won’t touch the stuff, claiming the liability is too great.
Shipping wine is one of the things Sip and Ship does best! We take pride in packing each bottle safely and shipping them securely every time.

This year Sip and Ship is a sponsor of the second annual Seattle Urban Wineries Pour Event, June 16th. Join us there to sample some amazing local Seattle wines. And, if your BFF can't attend, we'd be happy to arrange shipping them a bottle or two!

Greenwood Sip and Ship is excited to host Seattle’s neighborhood resident artist, Angela Driscoll of Driscoll Design this Friday, May 11th from 6pm-9pm!

Founded in 2004, Angela creates whimsical greeting cards and prints influenced by her German-American heritage, her fascination with children’s literature and world travel. Much like Sip and Ship, Driscoll Designs is a family run business. Angela runs the creative side of things and Charlie, her husband, and business partner, oversees the financial side; while their darling son, Danny, helps to keep their inspiration and passion alive!

Come meet Angela and her creative team during Greenwood’s BIG ArtWalk!
We’ll be serving our very own refreshing hand-squeezed lavender lemonade and homemade salted-chocolate-chip cookies.

BRAND NEW NORDIC HERITAGE MUSEUM GRAND OPENING

Sip and Ship is so excited to announce the opening of the new Nordic Heritage Museum! I was fortunate to get a behind-the-scenes peek at Ballard’s newest treasure, which will open to the public on May 5th from 1pm-5pm.

I was struck by the scope and depth of this project and how the story and lineage of the Nordic countries uphold the values of openness, social justice, entrepreneurship, equality, and respect for the environment - both land and sea.
As you enter the museum, you will notice the birch trees planted outside and hand-carved birch wood on the entrance doors and also reappears throughout the different exhibits - Nordic culture celebrates the birch, as it represents the beginning of a journey. Visiting the Nordic Museum will certainly be a journey and a celebration of this amazing culture.
Great for families, groups, or individuals. The Nordic Museum will transport you to Scandinavia; a rich and diverse culture that is woven into the fabric and history of Ballard. It is a supremely well done public space complimented by a cafe, event space, classrooms and a gift shop. You and yours will truly enjoy this exceptional community landmark.
