What transports you? Star Trek Enterprise Captain James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock could transport themselves anywhere they wanted to across the galaxy and beyond. While technology and space travel might be light years away, Starship Sip and Ship explores ways we can “beam” you up in some way everyday.
Customer Mark Lerdahl was recently transported back to his childhood while waiting in line to pick up his mail. It happened the moment he leaned over to take a sniff of one of our fraser fir candles. He kept his nose close to the wick, took a big breath in, and sighed it out. He was immediately taken back to his youth living in the outdoor paradise of the Adirondack Mountains, and working with his parents in their small business. It was a general store called Jack and Jill’s that catered to the surrounding community among the wilderness of central New York state. The candle was reminiscent of the rich woodsy scent of his hometown area which was captured abundantly in gift sachets in their store.
