You were probably nervous and excited about making a good first impression, to show up on time, wearing the right shoes?
Do you remember your first paycheck? Scanning the envelope and making discoveries inside. What was the first thing you treated yourself to with your own money? How about your first manager and first set of co-workers? Did they inspire you, make you laugh or work harder? Or maybe your first job experience didn’t go well and you had to try again? Most likely, you took what you learned from those experiences to your next job to build on from there. Sip and Ship is like that for many of our employees. We are often their first work experience and what it’s like to become a member of a business team. Over the years we’ve heard you ask, “how do you hire such good people?” There really is no one answer, but what we have learned is that Sip and Ship looks for people-centric, team-oriented and compassionate individuals. From there, we provide them with an environment of mentorship and leadership. Creating a culture that embraces service through kindness and empathy for others. As a team, we are able to make mistakes together, learn together and grow together and view our partnership as an extension of each other. Team Sip and Ship is looking forward to providing you with a safe place to sip seasonal snickerdoodle lattes, shop for the perfect holiday card and gift, and ship ribbon-wrapped and tree ready packages to your loved ones during this very unusual holiday season. From our family to yours, please stay safe and may you find small joys throughout the season to celebrate. December Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm & closed Sunday.
