As the calendar turns to 2021, like you, Sip and Ship takes time to reflect back on a year none of us could have imagined and to aim forward on a year that carries a lot of hope and optimism for most of us.
To be real, we are not out of a global pandemic. It is truly staggering to read the news and hear that it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Which means, we all need to do our parts to stay calm, wash our hands, wear our face masks and carry on as best we can. In 2021, you can count on Sip and Ship to be a safe haven for you and our crew with safety as our number one priority. Additionally, our team is currently collaborating on ways we can improve our service to you and are always open to ideas from you too (so keep them coming). We miss being able to share a simple hand-shake, high-five or a hug with you from across our service counters. In six months or so, we look forward to seeing the treasure of your smile and sharing with you, ours. Here’s to 2021!

Some holiday traditions will be abreviated this year. What traditions are you keeping alive and looking forward to most?
As strange as it may sound, on Christmas morning, sharing pigs in a blanket is one of our family traditions. There is something about the warm dough and the little smoky franks that bring our boys out of their winter slumbers, and downstairs to the kitchen for Christmas hugs and gathering around the tree. A family walk around the neighborhood is always in order. The holiday lights around our community are always a hit, and this year seem to be brighter than ever! Yes, we are plannning to Zoom with family and friends this year, toast with our neighbors over our fence and stream the nutcracker ballet. Better days are ahead. Here’s to all of you...hoping you elevate your traditions and/or find new ones to bring joy. Especially when you see friendly faces like these!
Meet Peaches, Paco, Archer, Truffle and Birdie, just to name a few of the dogs that live in our Ballard and Greenwood neighborhoods. They do an amazing job helping their families mail much needed Christmas cheer back home. In the process, they keep us connected, soothe stress, stir up laughter, and sparke hope that inspires the spread of greater holiday cheer. We appreciate them, their families and look forward to more Sip and Ship encounters soon (the best trade off to COVID we could have ever imagined - since we have become a temporary to-go cafe). Looking forward to seeing you and your four legged family members soon. The familiar scent of eggnog lattes paired with the sound of Sip and Ship’s elves diligently wrapping and shipping gifts for Santa’s sleigh remind us that the holidays are here!
This year, while we can't be near to those dear to us, sending a merry little Christmas wish brightens their hearts with the gift of hope that someday we'll be together again soon. December 15th marks the last day to secure December 24th delivery via standard shipping. We know there’s a lot to remember and a lot of distractions as we muddle through this tough year, so we’ve put together a printable schedule for you to reference with all of the important dates here. The Sip and Ship team looks forward to helping you create your own merry little holiday this year, |
