As strange as it may sound, on Christmas morning, sharing pigs in a blanket is one of our family traditions. There is something about the warm dough and the little smoky franks that bring our boys out of their winter slumbers, and downstairs to the kitchen for Christmas hugs and gathering around the tree.
A family walk around the neighborhood is always in order. The holiday lights around our community are always a hit, and this year seem to be brighter than ever!
Yes, we are plannning to Zoom with family and friends this year, toast with our neighbors over our fence and stream the nutcracker ballet. Better days are ahead.
Here’s to all of you...hoping you elevate your traditions and/or find new ones to bring joy.
