When we were twenty-somethings climbing the corporate ladder, my then-boyfriend and now-husband Steve and I would connect and commensurate over copious cups of coffee. Later on, as new parents, up way too early with a teething infant, or today as business partners (and still parents without a playbook), sharing a cup of coffee every morning together has been a mainstay in our relationship some 20 years later.
