Today is such a sad day in memory of 9/11 that I thought I would share a recent happy experience at Sip and Ship to cheer myself up.
Last week, I was enjoying a coffee in the Ballard Sip and Ship and casting about for a birthday present for my soon-to-be-5-year-old granddaughter, Callie, who lives in Lexington, South Carolina, when I spotted the collection of stuffed animals. It wasn't long before I found the perfect gift - “Bashful Bunny.” Before I finished my coffee, with the help of the staff, the bunny was wrapped and on its way to my granddaughter. I think the following three photos tell the rest of the story.
Taking a moment to make it a magical one for someone else is what life’s all about.
