Especially this Valentine’s Day, we are celebrating love through our services, retail products and encouraging all of those around us to share love and send love through the mail. Before screens, swipes and clicks, sending and receiving a card or letter was exhilarating, and guess what? It still is!! Sitting down to write or read words of love, share encouragement and stories pierce the heart with a jolt of dopamine that doesn’t translate as authentically from a screen.
Throughout the month of February, we want to signify the importance of participating in random acts of kindness. Not only within Sip and Ship, but with strangers, neighbors and people who you love. It's simple to start with eye contact and a smile. The rest naturally, and sometimes awkwardly, unfolds from there - just stay curious and go with it.
Sip and Ship will also be announcing special partnerships with neighboring small businesses on our Instagram page: sipshipshop. For instance with Greenhouse Nail Spa --supporting the idea that we all rely on small businesses to feel connected and gain a sense of community. Fellow female founder Kelly and her team are committed to delivering excellent products and services — just like Sip and Ship! So it makes sense to share our love for them with you!
