1. Pre-paid Shipping Labels
Use them! They are THE MOST cost effective way to return any item. Beware - they do not include any packaging needed to protect the item along its journey.
2. Size
Smaller is better in the shipping industry. The less real-estate your package takes up in the truck or aircraft the difference it makes no matter which shipping carrier you choose.
3. Reuse
Keeping a stash of padded mailers, poly-bags and boxes on hand to avoid paying for packing services. Certain to cover-up or black marker through any former shipping labels or box markings. For example, flipping inside out a poly bag to return non-fragile items. Bringing it to Sip and Ship to take advantage of our free shipping tape to seal them up.
4. Flat Rate
These are excellent ways to reduce shipping costs as long as the item can comfortably fit inside these carrier containers. For example, the other day, a guest brought in a car license plate inside a padded mailer and our team recommended slipping inside a USPS Priority Mail Flat Envelope saving them upwards of $5. Enough to add a couple of Seattle Chocolate bars without increasing their shipping price.
5. Service
Sip and Ship values partnerships. We work with all of the major shipping carriers to provide you with flexible shipping options so you can make informed decisions on how you’d like your item to travel to your special person and/or its final destination.
Ultimately, our goal is to give you the tools needed to get the job done complimented with a level of service you can always rely on at Sip and Ship.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
