- “I ran out of tape!” You don’t need tape. Open boxes don’t stand a chance when they are brought to Sip and Ship. We are happy to seal them up tight and send them on their way.
- “My printer ran out of toner!” No worries, Sip and Ship has plenty of toner, and our printers are ready whenever you are. You can email us your prepaid shipping labels. We can get you squared away quicker than you can say double-tall half-cafe latte with a half a pump of sugar-free vanilla.
- “Oh no, I already recycled the shipping box!” You don’t need the original box. We have a wide assortment of padded mailers and boxes to fit your returns.
Now that we’re into summer with a little more freedom to roam about, Sip and Ship encourages you to consider taking advantage of some of our convenient services to help you get things done with greater speed and ease. We’ve heard some excuses over the years, but rest assured, we almost always have the remedy.
Sip and Ship will be closed Friday, June 12th to honor Black Lives Matter.
We invite you to approach this significant time in history with great intentionality and needed action. We believe that some of the most important work is a greater understanding of how we all got here, learning our hidden biases and coming to terms with each of our own individual responsibility towards anti-racism. We hope that this time will provide you with some space to examine and continue to engage in your own way.
We appreciate your open mindedness, kindness and support as we navigate and shift into uncomfortable but necessary change.
We look forward to seeing you again on Saturday, June 13th from 10am-5pm.
Diana and Your Sip and Ship Team
“The beauty of anti-racism is that you don’t have to pretend to be free of racism to be an anti-racist. Anti-racism is the commitment to fight racism wherever you find it, including in yourself. And it’s the only way forward.” - IJEOMA OLUO
Our communities have been acutely affected by the senseless acts of violence and loss of black lives for far too long. Collectively there is more work we can do to fight embedded racism and systemic injustice.
At Sip and Ship, our approach is to continue to listen, learn and lead through action. We urge you to join us with active listening without assumption or interruption, remaining open minded to perspectives different from your own, having the courage and curiosity to engage in meaningful and often uncomfortable conversations and to join protesting for justice and reform by marching, mailing, emailing, donating and sharing your voice and and the voices of others on social channels.
If you are new to anti-racism, the time is now to be brave and begin the work to advocate for change. Here are a few ways to directly and immediately refocus your energy and power. Consider supporting a few of black-owned small businesses and organizations. Here are a few resources to get started. If you have any you would like to share with us, we would welcome those too. Together we are a body of work in progress for positive change.

King of the BBQ, lawn-care and automotive expert, fixer of so many things. Motivator, chief counsel and master of the bad joke - it’s that time of the year to celebrate the one and only, Dad.
Father’s Day is June 21. Whether your Dad is like Homer Simpson or Archie Bunker, don’t forget they’re still your Dad and this is the time of year to say, “hey Dad, um, like . . . you know what? I love you, you’re the best!” See, that wasn’t so hard! Your Dad would LOVE hearing from you.
Even though Sip and Ship store locations will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day, you can always find a few of our favorite things at our online shop - keeping you connected with all of the special people in your life, especially the ones you’d like to celebrate!

Graduating in 2020 has been unique, to say the least. Someone (we'll call them Pandemic) went and moved the finish-line. And along the way put a bunch of obstacles in your path. They tried to hide and change the rules . . . but your graduate unlocked the doors and solved the riddles to cross the finish line - graduation never tasted so sweet. Sip and Ship is ready to help you celebrate your smarty pants with loads of gifts and cards to choose from. We’ve also created an exclusive ‘’Quarantine Grad Kit.” A perfect way to celebrate your graduate(s), if you can’t be there in person.
We look forward to helping you connect and celebrate your graduate no matter where they are.
Being able to conduct business from anywhere in the world right now is critical. When do you launch your business idea or innovate in order to grow, and how? Especially now? These are questions that every entrepreneur asks. While there is little certainty around how we all come out of COVID-19, one thing is for certain: entrepreneurs don’t give up easily - they figure out how to innovate.
Now is the time to establish a presence for your business. Sip and Ship has the tools and the infrastructure to help you innovate and simplify your business through our virtual mail and business services. You get a REAL physical mailing address (not a PO Box) for your business. We receive your mail locally and you open it digitally from a computer or mobile device from anywhere in the world. Consider Sip and Ship your mailroom and business communications center. We notify you via email when you receive a piece of mail, package, or check and you instruct us on whether you want it shredded, forwarded, or deposited. Essentially, you have a business support team at your disposal to help you drive your business without costly overhead. Having a virtual mailbox with Sip and Ship is an easy, convenient, and innovative way to run your business no matter where business may take you.
Shreya Ley, President and Lawyer-Human of LayRoots, says about Sip and Ship, "My husband and I are business owners, we love to travel, and, since we're attorneys, we often get mail that is important to our business and our clients. We want to make sure that this mail is handled by real people that we can talk to and trust. We have been so happy with how personable and professional the Sip and Ship staff has been in ensuring that any business and personal mail gets to us. We can access it while traveling and we know that we can talk to a real person if anything ever comes up."

Lucky for you, Sip and Ship has got you covered online or in stores.
Who and what matters to you, matters to us.
We understand that the pandemic situation has us all feeling like our world has been turned upside down. One thing you can count on, your mother wants to hear from you! Sure, phone calls and texts are good, but Mother’s Day is a time to up your game. Sip and Ship has got you covered, in-store and online, too. We’ve curated some of this seasons most lovely scents, cards and gifts for you to mail to Mom. Visit our shops in Ballard and Greenwood (with social distancing in place) or stay at home and call the shop directly or order online. Whatever is safest and most convenient for you, is what we’d love to do, for you, and for Mom.
Team Sip and Ship looks forward to helping you celebrate your role model, cheerleader and Mom.
Getting through this pandemic has been trying, to say the least, and impacting each of us in ways we could have never imagined. This is tough stuff.
Sip and Ship hopes that being open for business might help you take advantage of an opportunity to help our shared community by helping a neighbor in need. We invite you to join us in this effort by dropping off any non-perishable food item(s) that will go directly to the Ballard Food Bank and Greenwood FamilyWorks. As unemployment continues its ripple effect across Washington State, Governor Inslee has challenged all of us to help our local food banks. Sip and Ship has containers in our shops to collect any pantry items you’d like to donate. Anything you can provide will add great value and resilience within our community.
Meanwhile, Team Sip and Ship feels privileged to be able to take care of you and your coffee to-go, mailing, and notary needs.
