Moms come in many forms:
Human moms, stepmoms, auntie-moms
Animal moms and earth mamas
Plant moms, mentor moms, chosen moms
Each one nurtures in their own unique way. This Mother’s Day, Sip and Ship is here to help you celebrate all the moms—with the simplicity of a thoughtful card and a meaningful message.
We asked our team:
What’s the best advice your mom ever gave you?
What’s a memory you hold dear?
How do you honor or remember her?
Here’s what they shared:
- “My mom taught me to always show up—especially when it’s hard.”
- “We’d sing in the kitchen while dinner was cooking. Now when I cook I feel close to them regardless of the distance.”
- "We sat around the dinner table talking like whales, echoing deep, ridiculous sounds across our plates, laughing uncontrollably at the silliness we all loved sharing with our mom."
- "My mom climbed onto the spring rider and rocked with such wild abandon you'd think she was trying to launch it into orbit, while we all laughed until our sides hurt."
- “I light a candle on her birthday every year. It’s my way of keeping her close.
From me, as a mom:
What makes me me as a mom? All of us want to set a good example for our children. As a new mom, especially when my boys were little. I did whatever it took to start their day off right: a gentle nudge awake, a good breakfast, an encouraging school drop-off and soft reminder as they hopped out of the car: “Be a good friend.”
What makes my mom uniquely my mom:
She’s a natural storyteller—her strongest form of communication. She’s a teacher, an adventurer, and an activist at heart. Her words can move mountains—and her chicken and wild rice soup? Legendary.
Whether you're honoring your own mom, a friend who's like a mom, or yourself this Mother’s Day, we’ve curated a few heartfelt gift ideas to celebrate her:

Come find the card—and gift—that says what’s in your heart.
With warmth and admiration,
